Optimax air compressor wanted

Would you believe there is none in stock in Europe or North America

New Batch due in just in time for the end of summer!

I'm just wondering if there's a dealer somewhere with one sat on the shelf or anyone with a motor being broken for spares?

Its the complete air compressor unit I'm after for a 225hp optimax, 2003 on.

Part number 828123T19 or 828123T32

Thanks

Bembridge outboards are selling opti 200 and 225 ecu units, Its a long shot but you could guess they must have some breaking. may be worth a try

Thanks for the suggestions guys, no luck so far with them though.

Chris thanks but I think the 150 is different, will double check anyway.

Ribshop could do with the complete unit really, the bore is badly scored and the piston, conrod and crank are all U/S as well.

Compressor

This is a strange coincidence....

My friends compressor / fuel pump failed last wednesday (Very Hot day) on a 225 Opti 2003? Wasn't being run hard and started making horrendous noise as if engine was seizing up on way into Bouley Bay. Tied up on mooring and took the boat out the water later the same day.

Think they got the last one in UK and this was fitted by GT marine earlier this week. Saw your rib in Sark for rowing race so guess this failed either on Sat or Sun??

GT said they have had a few of these go over last few years for no apparent reason. BTW (£900 for parts £300 labour ouch)

Ah yes saw the one at GT, did exactly the same as mine. Price is a bit much, they're £400 from USA, labour is free if you're capable of doing up 4 bolts

It happened on the way into Sark but sod it I thought, just carried on!

Found one! A place called American Marine, they have a warehouse in the US as well as UK. Apparently they carry a huge stock in the US which obviously the UK depot can call upon.

Also a fair amount less than RRP through a Mercury dealer
