just thought i would try my luck , and see if anyone has engine for sale in [tayside ] area ,or even scotland? would be looking at from 2.5 hp to,and up to -5hp just for fun on calm water for a wee bit fly fishing thank,s in advance for any reply,s or advice where i might start looking . have been on e bay , and they have quite a few but all down south . surely there must be one nearer looking for a good home

If you are Dundee way, the two local to you I can think of are David Anderson Marine In Newport 01382 541848 He has a fair selection of stuff from spanking new to "major project".

I may very well be selling a MERCURY 6hp engine pretty soon - depends on how the new engine goes.

6hp is from 2009, i think (will check log book), used ONLY TWICE in water and about 12 hours total use. It is in seriously BRAND NEW condition.

Once I have tried boat a couple of times with the new 20hp engine and am happy, will sell.

Also - I am an hour up the road in sunny Aberdeen!!!
