Ribtec 535 Hull and Console

Ribtec 535, this hull has substantial damage...

The deck has come away from the hull and has been unsuccessfully repaired by just fibreglass, the deck has tired to punch through the hull which has caused a split along the chine and the hull near the tube flange has tried to fold causing another split which runs under the tube tape.

An independent survey has been carried out through the last owner and the report was that the transom is 100% saturated with water, this is in keeping with lose transom bolts and a previous repair of capping the transom both sides in stainless steel.

The tubes will need to be partly removed, the deck will have to be replaced and the hull needs to be repaired both inside and out so this is not for the faint hearted. The transom also needs to be replaced..

The good news is it has an A-Frame, Console and the tubes look good

Open to offers by PM

Collection from Southampton.

That's an understatement. I think it's a job for a professional or someone with lots of experience. It's a big job, but could make a cracking small rib!

Yes sorry I should have said....

If this work is not completed correctly then it will just come back and it will have to be done all again, at present the rib is trying to fold in half however hulls are infinitely repairable so in the right hands it will be fine

Avon Searider Tube Handles - Donated by Barrowboy

These Hypalon tube handles are all new and we have 8 of them

They do not match the later military tubes however they do match about 90% of Seariders out there with the slightly dimpled finish hypalon. However they do not match the fabric of the deluxe models....

But if your SR has stainless steel transom stays then the chances are that they'll match perfectly

These are great for covering up repairs or replacing old frayed ones. They are great for use near the bow, either side of the console or on the cone ends like lifeboats...

I will sell these is pairs if required, open to offers on these but please remember that they are no longer available from Avon so once they're gone they're gone...

Open to offers to include postage

Tigger not included!

I texted Whisper - but think he must be on edge of exhaustion. Anything by way of profit from my current SR4 mini project will go into the pot.
