A plates value is determined by the price someones going to pay for it, not a valuation from a number plate company.

I bought a very interesting RIB number plate that I was going to use (much better than RIB****). I never did use it but when the time came to sell I found it much more difficult to shift than I thought.

Be prepared to wait a long time to sell them at the prices you're advertising them for.

I hope you get what you want for them.

Dont get it! A price of around £500 would have put money straight in the sellers pocket, whereas now very unlikely to sell. But at least has the satisfaction of owning a plate worth £999 (not) .......

If you really want a RIB plate, check out R18 ... combinations, then you can have it combined with your initials or company

Is that not the same for anything you sell?

Of course it is! But was making a point to those that had said their plates were worth the valuation that had been placed on them by that number plate company.

He hasn't logged in since last year but doesn't have to I guess.

Shouldn't be too hard on the poor bloke, he hasn't had it easy recently

Plus Transfer fee of £105 which is paid, plus plates.

Are you interested or do you just have to much time on your hands?

Too much time on my hands, my Disco came with M21 MUC so I'm happy with that.

Resurecting this thread cos this popped up on Ebay 1988 RENAULT 5 GT TURBO BLACK spares/repairs | eBay

BIN of £695 and open to offers.....If some of the valuations earlier in the thread are correct then its a bargain .......and you get a knackered (but retro cool) 5 GT Turbo for free

I think there is another thread somewhere on this subject more recently, but for my tow vehicle I thought of getting this: R111BB N available here: Buy Now

But the Mrs won't let me

I thought it worked quite well, also if you are a comic and all for £255

I sold RIB 9463 on eBay for £999 in the end (which included the transfer fee).
