Prop Lock

McGard prop lock, Model: 74039, 3/4-16.

I bought it for a mercruiser alpha leg but never used it.
£35 inc UK postage.

Based on the Isle of Wight, if collected will deduct postage cost.

Interesting, just thought about this and it had never occurred to me. Only takes a few seconds to remove a prop, why not do that?
That's my plan for the future now.

That is a fair point if you can be bothered.
Just be aware though that the nut and lock washer are only supposed to be used a couple of times.
I daresay they can be used much more than that, but if you are aware of this, then there will be niggle in our mind of the slight possibility of your prop falling off.

If anyone is still looking for a MCGard prop lock or outboard/ sterndrive lock then I have plenty to sell for various engines as I have wound up a business that I once had and would like to move them on, just give me a shout for a price.
