Rapide Trailer for 5.8m - 6m Rib

Evening all,

I'm selling the trailer for my 585 Ribcraft. It was supplied by the factory and has been lightly used with only a 90hp on the boat and limited miles.

Its a pretty substantial trailer with a Bradley hitch and over-run drum brakes. All decals in good order, one mud guard is cracked but it has been repaired very effectively. If you are fussy a new one is only about £30.

It has a single speed, high capacity winch, 16 non-marking rollers (8 at the back and 8 at the front), one keel roller, two bow snubbers, steps front and rear of each wheel. The rear of the trailer has bars that slide into the framework and the light board is included.

The axle can be moved forwards and backwards and the rollers are both swinging beams to make life easy recovering. The width and height of the rollers can be adjusted so pretty much any boat could go on it. The jockey wheel is a pneumatic version rather than the cheaper solid versions.

Its currently in West London, just 2 mins from the top of the M3, near Shepperton Marina.

As its in good condition and fully serviceable I'm looking to get about £950 for it.

Feel free to me phone me on 07968 351 721 if you have any questions. Your best ringing after 6pm to catch me or alternatively send me a PM.

Chris

Hi Chris just noticed your thread. I have the same setup and have been experiencing some difficulties since I bought the rig some six years ago with recovery. The bow roller bed id a bitch and seems to angle itself in that the boat literally has to climb 'the' hill so to speak. When it is fully on the keel does not touch the forward roller. Did you have any bother and could you advise the postions of the bolts on your cradles where they meet the body of chasis.
Thanks for your help
Cheers
J
