Magellan is getting a new electronics package and the old one is offered here before being put on ebay.
The plotter does NOT support AIS display but the chart is up-to-date (August 2012) and of course the radar is invaluable.
Still installed and can be demonstrated working.
I have:
- RL80CRC 10" colour plotter with power cable
- Suncover
- Manual
- U or trunion bracket
- 4kw raydome and cable
Sensiable offers? Thinking starting ebay at £500.
The C-MAP NT+ local chip is thames estrury but can be changed to the latest update of any other area for £60 and I am happy to arrange this.
This unit requires an external NMEA or SeaTalk GPS input which I am not including as it runs other equiptment onboard. The Raymarine 130 mushroom costs about £250 new.
I am also not including the fluxgate compass as that runs the autopilot too. To get full MARPA functionality from the radar you would need to add one of these (it will work without of course).
