Wanted Raymarine DSM30 Echo Sounder Module

Morning all,

As some of you may be vaguely aware I am retoring a Revenger 27, hoping to do the major bit of the fit out over Easter now that the deck is down.

I have been offered some Raymarine kit second hand and would love to be able to take up the offer. However, it seems that I am in need of a DSM 30 module. Only second hand possibilities I can find at the moment seem to be on the expensive side and in the USA.

Anyone have one kicking around or a source?

Have you tried contacting Raymarine direct. The customer service is very good & they may be able to help you out.

Hi Barney,

The DSM 30 had some reliability issues. If memory serves, they were made in 2 locations. One was better than the other. Again, this is from memory reading a post on Thehulltruth.com.

I did have DSM 30 and would constantly get DSM error codes.

There is a guy in USA called Max Marine Electronics in Pompano Beach Florida that has a lot of used electronics usually at pretty good prices.

Folks, thanks for all your replies, I am trying to do some research to see if there are alternatives to it being a DSM 30 and if I find any of your kind offers are suitable I will shout.

Meantime I have been in the shed getting itchy!
