I have a Raymarine Transom Mount Transducer in the garage but think it may be the one without the wheel.

It's hand very little use, just a few hours, and I'd want @£60 for it.

I'll dig it out shortly and have a look.

It's actually a P66, and does have the paddle wheel.

It worked perfectly with my E120 and DSM300 when it was removed @4yrs ago.

Thanks Nasher but I think I will need an adaptor lead (part number E66066) with that transducer.

A quick bump, it needs to have a plug like the one in the pictures below and the Raymarine part number is E66062

The first picture is the back of the unit showing the power cable so the transducer connector is the one with the larger black nut

I guess you're not sorted yet? There's a really cheap one on Ebay at the mo' - not your fitting but for a "nifty", it might be worth a punt for a cut 'n' shut. The word on here is that a good solder and shielding job works very well.

EDIT: um, sorry, just remembered you aren't replacing a dud.

That bloke is cool, we have already exchanged emails but it's the wrong plug turns out the P58 is made for several different companies but with different plugs on

I'll take another look at nashers one but the adaptor cable is expensive

Is the Raymarine DS600X hd fishfinder really worth it though? it will replace my Gainmin 188c and I will have a Raymarine A70 running a gold card for GPS

I "replaced" my DS500X with an A65 (Plotter Combo). It was better than the standalone sounder.

What I was driving at was if you had a dud P58, you could swap ends. Never mind. I threw one out a few years back. New willk rule: Never throw anything out.
