Might be better to buy a large tarp off of ebay if it's only temporary.

Try ducks back covers.
The cover i bought for my 6.5m has about 1m of extra length and still fits over my A Frame.

Rib cover

I bought mine recently from PANDACOVERS for my 5M RIB. and it's far too big. the hold down straps are excellent. I had to fold it up at the back, AFTER it covered the engine!

I used a Ducksback for my Vipermax 6.2 and the width was just wide enough where my console was. I now use a Talamex 'Covi' Boat Cover from Torquay Chandlers :Here They are very friendly and easy to talk to.

They don't list the largest which is a "Maxi" size and it's very generous on the width as well as being plenty long enough too. Cost is a bit richer than Ducksback ones at about £140

My RIB has a beam of 8ft 6 inches.
I draped a bit of sting over the top of the console and the measurement was well over the width of the largest cover. I emailed them and received this response...

-------------

Hi Simon,
The 108" dimension is a rough guide that's why we suggest people use the calculator as every boat is different.
The size 7 cover is actually 394 cm wide at the widest point across the beam and 932cm long.
I checked the next size down (size 6) dimensions and it would be a bit too short for your boat.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Andy

--------------

The cover fits down to the bottom of the tubes at its narrowest point and still fits over the A Frame.
They also said they will take the cover back as long as you dont get it dirty.

Use code "ducks10" for 10% your order (without the inverted commas).
