S/H Shipmate RS 8300 Handset type VHF

I have a secondhand Shipmate RS 8300 VHF radio. This radio was horrendously expensive new, and is essentially a 2 part job. You have the actual VHF unit (the black box) and an external telephone style handset.

This enables you to mount the VHF somewhere nice and dry, and only expose the handset to the elements. This takes up less console space, and looks more attractive!

The set is in full working order, however I have no manuals for it.

The only issue is that the cable from the handset to the black box was cut when the set was removed, so it needs re-crimping into the connector. I can do this for you if you'd like.

Inviting any offers, this type of set is very expensive new, and will be a bargain from me!

Shipmate Radio

Do you still have the Shipmate? If so, what would you need to sell it? Thanks, Lee
