Screw wanted :o) ... For nav light on A frame

Hello

Can anyone help me please in trying to find a replacement screw (well actually a bolt) for a navigation light fitted to an A frame on a Bombard Explorer 500 RIB?

The attached pictures show the screw and where it goes on the port navigation light that came with the RIB; the missing screw is for the starboard side, but is identical, apart from the colour. Approx 37mm long and 3mm in diameter

The A frame fitted to the RIB looks very like this one:

Ron Hale Marine Ltd - Adjustable "A" Frame 1"

But alas that supplier and others I've contacted can't help.

Many thanks

Steve

If you have any lying around then try an M3 bolt for a thread match - if it fits then I would just buy a 40mm M3 bolt in A4 stainless and cut/ grind a bit off the end - from memory there are quite a few stainless suppliers mentioned on these forums (just use the search function - but this thread mentions a few suppliers http://www.rib.net/forum/f19/best-pl...ews-47458.html).

Great Service

Hello All

Just a note to say that thanks to the brilliant service by Mike Searle at Home page - Margnor-Online I now have the screws I need.

I have no personal connection with Mike, but want to say how helpful he was, especially for the small nature of this order.

Highly recommended for any fasteners and fittings - and a great supporter of the RNLI too.

Best wishes

Steve
