Had not planned on cutting it when i bought it, It just did not look like right and the cost of the self righting bag did it for me. If you want a smaller frame Matt h had a single stainless A frame.
I would have got some sort of storage barrel or even a life raft fitted there, I've got the original Avon 5.4 meter A-frame fitted atm that's a single tube I don't like it tho even tho it has a bench fitted
