Searider Hull 5.4 good projec
I bought this as a project with the intention of retubing it but I can't bring myself to cut off the toobs as there is nothing wrong with them and the hull is sound. They hold air for month and on that basis it's in the way.
The boat has been rigged for twins. The seat has been recovered and the Transom is sound .
I'll add some photos tomorrow
I'd like a 1000 for it on a reasonable trailer or 700 without

I have an itinerent soul and I've been home for 3 weeks which is about 22days too long. If anybody genuinely wants the boat I don't have a problem offering a very economical delivery.

I am wondering if I would be able to start with my current engine on this boat. I have a Narwhal rib which needs a lot of work sticking the tubes together. It is going to cost a bit for the glue and materials and ultimately is likely to be a losing battle. Would this boat go at all with a single 25hp? I am not looking to win races, but it does need to be able to haul itself onto the plane eventually one up. I think the current engine is a short shaft, which may well also be a problem.

used to run 5.4s with 40hp, sluggish but workable. had 25hp on a 4m again slugish but workable, but a 5.4 with a 25 is pushing it.
