Selva 15hp 2st outboard For Sale

As per title! Late 70s or early 80s Selva 15horse..
very lightweight....38kg...very little corrosion although hood/cover is lets say cosmetically challenged.. killswitch fitted.. just had new impeller so pumps water well.. new plugs.. starts well from cold and runs well picking up cleanly no nasty noises and goes in and out gear well but a little reluctant starting when warm... guessing just mixture needs tweaking but I haven't the time to fiddle...too many toys ongoing! Does not come with fuel tank but does come cheap and with a homemade wooden stand for it...its not pretty but serves a purpose! I paid £430 4 years ago and its never been on a boat! I paid too much but must be worth £225 ono.
located Northwich Cheshire but could be in Burntwood Staffs if that helps..
Just realised can't attach video of it running...will sort pics tomorrow and can email video if anybody wants it..
Chris

I had one of these some years ago, mine was a gem for 5 years and apart from an impeller there was never a problem with it. You may find that it needs the the choke even if warm, pushing it back in the second it fires up. That is what I was advised and it always worked for me.

Good luck with the sale

Phil
