Simrad VHF (Not Working)

Can you help? I need 2 or 3 non working Simrad VHF Radios,
for use as a teaching aid for the SRC Cert. If you have a non working RD64 or the older RT62 Please don't put it in the bin
If the case is intact then i can use it. Please e-mail
davebutler02@manx.net I will pay all postage and put the radio to good use.

RIBase
This might sound like a daft suggestion but have you tried Simrad themselves?
When I was in trade, we used to get back "broken" units for warranty or other replacement and after examination we used to bin them..........unless someone, with a good reason, requested them. In which case we passed them over FOC.

Thanks for the post Brian,
Simrad produce the simulators for use in training, but at quite a cost. Another company make a simulator but it is more of a box with switches than a radio.

I will contact Simrad but I am not hopeful

Thanks Again.

There's a computer based simulator that we used on my VHF course _ I think they get it from the RYA
