For an Aquarius thundercat presumably?
13 is low pitch for that, you'd want a 14 or 15 for all round use

Hi, Yes a Aquarius thundercat, The 15 Pitch semi clever Powertec worked perfect on my Ceaser Thundercat. The engine is mounted as low as possible with very little trim up. The boat is now only used to tow toys/kneeboard etc however on pick up the prop starts to cavitate with very little pull. I did invest in a new Michigan Apollo 13 pitch which didn't really improve the situation.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Gary

I don't know much about those Apollo props but they're not commonly used on thundercats, generally you want a semi cleaver or Solas for best grip. Think you can still get new 13p Yamaha semi cleavers, they're the best all round props I've ever tried on my thundercat, and I've tried over 70.
Might be able to get a new one from Yamaha if you're interested, I usually buy in 14p ones

would you know the cost of a new yamaha prop? To be honest i'm on a very tight budget, maybe a 14 is the way to go!

They're £139.99 new, think the 13p is slightly more. Don't have any in stock at the moment, ordered more a while back but still haven't arrived

Hi
Just bought a Thundercat as a go fast toy with teenagers to add to my Zodiac collection and looking for advice on propellor selection for 50Hp Tohatsu.
11.2 x 14 hits rev limiter on Zodiac.
As boat is smaller and lighter how big can I go do you think ? 13 X17 ? (N can grab cheaply)
Thanks from lockdown Sydney

Replied to you on Facebook anyway but will post here in case anyone finds it useful!

13” diameter won’t fit on the 50d2 gearbox, 12 is the max but usually around 11”’is best.
Pitch wise 14/15 is good for all round, an 18p cleaver is good for high speed

I recently sold a 13x13 stainless Saturn, which gave roughly the same performance as the 13x15 Yamaha aluminium at a fraction of the cost. If that helps at all.
