SR 5.4m tube set
Hello all, looks like we're going to rebuild our Avon SR 5.4 this fall. Looking to purchase a new set of tubes. Any recommendations out there? Thanks, John

Good luck finding them. Just had a quote from henshaws for mine - £4400. He said I could have them in any colour I wanted though haha 😏

Nope that would be a perfect engine for your searider. I have that on my one.
Your totally correct that henshaws are quality through and through, not sure I can justify that price for tubes on a searider

163 kg seems heavy to me. What's the balance like when landing?

and here is a set of them. I wanted this Searider to look different to the armadillo tubes, But Paul has made me a set of Armadillo tubes in the past. Both were excellent

Thanks
The console also has a 91 litre fuel tank inside it, which keeps the centre of gravity central ish
Wiill pm you the info have a spare console and bow locker in white. They are made by Osprey Ribs but I'm not sure if one has to go through their agent. I will find out for you and let you know how/who to contact. It shouldn't be a problem to ship a well packed pallet to you if you wanted to go down that route.
ZUBOL on this forum as did a fantastic job of refurbing/improving a Searider which was where we stole the bowlocker idea from

Yes, I'd seen that and thought it looked similar to yours. Please send me the info when you can on your spares. We're running 99 litres a little further fwd. It would be great to get something similar under the seat. Thanks again, John oasales@dowco.com
