Hi does any have for sale a stator for mariner 40 hp part no 398-81853a3 are if you can point me in the right direction to obtain one at a good price

give Alystra a PM he had the same problem last year and knows of a ggod source for that part.

is that the p/n that was on the stator? if it is that is usually just a production p/n the electronic parts catalog nine times out of ten will not reconnize it and the electric start and manual start stators are differant, if you havent all ready done so check that is the correct part number of the stator using the obm serial number
