Steering bracket 1986 Mercury 20hp

I am trying to obtain a steering bracket to connect my steering link arm to the outboard. It appears that I need something similar to the one featured in this picture (older model of my outboard). I would be grateful if someone can help me to locate one.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Sorry, just to be clear, the picture isn't my engine, it is a picture of an older model I cribbed from ribnet. The serial number is 9441071, which I believe puts it at 1986.

Thanks, Ian

I was informed today that the photo I posted was misleading, as the part I need is different from the one in the photo provided at the start of the thread. As a result, I have provided an actual photo of the engine for which I am trying to obtain a steering bracket.

Apparently, the bracket attached to the 2 bolts at the bottom of the cowl.

Thanks in anticipation.

Ian
