Does anyone know if I can obtain a starter motor in the UK for this engine. It is a Hitachi #31100-95600. I've also spotted an Arco replacement #3440. Cheers Dave
There is a website in America what sells Hitachi starter motors for boats and a lot cheaper than they are with the Suzi/yamaha mark up. I am afraid that I don't have a link right now but if you search on yamaha spare parts it should come up

I see you are lucky enough to come from Cardiff, what part are you from...there is a place in City Road that used to overhaul starter motors. There was also a place in Cowbridge Road East
