For Sale: Suzuki DF4 4hp 4 stroke

2013, 4HP 4 stroke.
Very good condition - we bought it a month ago from the first owner who never got round to using it. Kept under the stairs from new.

We have only been out 3 times, about 10 hours use in total.

I have done an oil change on it to ensure good oil etc.

Very easy to start.

Only selling as wanted a bigger engine for our setup.

We paid £400 for it as an unknown and turned out to be a good engine (so far).

£400 and I will throw in the expertly built stand :P

Yeh. New engine a bit too heavy for this sib. But the ebay listing is just for the engine

I've just seen. Your 3.0m Ali floor sib will be fine with that.
It's rated for 10hp 4 stroke which are heavier.

I've run a 2.9m with a 15hp
A Europa 3.8m with a 30hp

I would keep the boat for time being. Get some more use from it. Only had it 2 minutes

I was thinking along the same lines. but Mariner website puts this engine at 40kg ish. and the Europa is rated at 30 ish

Honestly try it first. I've had the exact same engine on a smaller not as good a sib. If you then put that engine on a 3.8m Europa like I did. You will only want more power again.
And if you want reassurance with another boat let me know. I live 20 minutes away.

We may just take you up on that offer. Would be interesting how a bigger boat fits.
Just let us know when you are planning on going out. Assuming our calendars align.
