I would try Chris Henshaw's

Rubbing Strakes for RIBS - Henshaw Inflatables Ltd

Or Paul Tilley

RIB Tubes - Tilley Inflatable Design and Engineering Ltd - Devon Plymouth UK

I am not sure if we talking about the same thing but I got some hypalon strips made up and that gets glued on over the seems they are about three inches wide and does the job perfect I paid 100 pounds for 5 strips

Hi thanks for the reply's rubbing strake is not what i mean (thanks for thinking though:-)) and it's not hypalon but thinner. It's a sort of thin tape which is taped over the seems wher the sections or air chambers are mounted together.
I'll get around to send a mail to Henshaw's or Paul.
Whish i could afford net tubes but am a little proud of owning a 35year old searider with original tubes.

Grtz

Bert I don't think that the very thin tape you describe is available now which is why most people cover with 2" or 3" wide hypalon tapes
