This is a genuine Teleflex steering cable which was bought a couple of weeks ago to replace the old, seized cable on my boat. It was bought as a direct replacement of the previous cable, which was not fitted properly, so i decided to fit this new cable properly and found that it came up about 3 inches short!! So a 14ft cable has been bought and this one is for sale.
All that has happened to this cable is that it has been pushed through a hole in the engine well and fitted to the transom bracket, then taken out again after much swearing! Otherwise this cable is BRAND NEW.
