For Sale - Trailer with free Fletcher Arrowflyte speedboat in need of refurbishment.

Reason for the addition on this site is simply that I guess the trailer is suitable for RIB's also, unless anyone can correct me.

Don't know much about the trailer except that it has a new winch, and recent bearings and a huge almost RSJ like frame unlike the Indespension that I currently have for my RIB.

Basically need to clear some space and feel the speed boat in it's current condition is not worth much so it's being given away with the trailer. Reciently towed the trailer from Yorkshire without any issues. For information the speedboat need a new replacement deck and like most old Fletchers the wood has rotted.

Anyway for sale at £100.00 if anyone is interested.

Whats the biggest engine the boat would sport ?

I have seen these with upto 90hp but ideally 50hp plus gives alot of performance. But please be aware that this boat will need work on the stringers and deck....hence the price and the fact it is being given away free with the trailer...

These 140s were officially rated to 75hp, but I bought a new one back in '91, which was (probably mistakenly) stamped on the plate as 85hp max, so I fitted a DT85 Soozook to it.
It ran fine

Prior to this, I had an '82 version, similar to the one in the pic and this went ok with a Soozook DT50, but even better when I replaced the 50 with a DT65.

All home with it now, the neighbours started some furious curtain twitching as if to say "whats he doing now?"
Just need to get the boat shifted and start work on the trailer :-) ready to pick up the rib.
