Peter

Hi.

Just out of interest, is that a trailer able to carry a 2600Kg boat? Or one with axle(s) rated at 2600Kgs?

Just interested how the manufacturers rate their trailers.

Nasher.

Nasher.
The axles on mine are rated to 1500kg each, but the trailer is only rated to 2000kg MAM.

On making several enquiries to different suppliers De graaff and ocean trailers were most efficent but de graaff won on price they are even happy to spray the brake hubs for me with an additional coating of paint after drilling in the flushing kit. This i know is something we would all do for ourselves but would exspect to have additional charge from a company but it was their pleasure to do it.I pick it up on Friday morning and have every confidense it will be fine

Thanks Peter.

Its interesting just how much needs to be allowed for in the weight of the trailer itself.

When I converted my single axle Indespension trailer to twin axles last summer I was amazed at the weight of the frame by itself without the axles, wheels etc.

The two 1300kg axles I put on it give me over 2000kgs capacity on the trailer now.

Nasher.
