Wanted Outboard Control Cables

OMC johnsson evinrude post 1979 same as below - I believe the type to called C14 if thats any help

Anyone got anything stashed in there garage doesnt have to be new just working - thanks in advance, in terms of length im guessing around 4metres or there abouts is required from my 5.4 avon console to the back of the boat -

My point was that if you use 33C cables and the adaptors, 33C cables are cheap/easily available.

Wanted Ourboard Control Cables

Hi, I used 17.5 ft long cables on same installation with gear/throttle on port side of console,cables passing through,exiting starboard stern end of console then looping into the port side of the Mercury.Length needed to maximise cable bend radius and so reduce friction & aid feel.Best to run a rope & measure as cables are nominal lengths Quicksilver Xtreme are the best.Rgd's

Ollyit - I have a pair of 2005 Yamaha cables which might be right length if you can get the right end fitting/adaptors (I think they are C33's and from memory are 13ft long - but can check if you want).

OK i'll try to get you a picture and some measurements in the morning - its too dark, wet and windy out there just now for me to get off the sofa!
