Yamaha 30hp Autolube SWAP for 15hp 2 stroke S/S
Yamaha 30hp, Longshaft, Electric start, autolube, 3 cylinder, year 2000.
Engine is in good overall condition, as can be seen in the pictures. Has just had a full service, including new impeller and new thermostat. Can be seen running.
Bad points; the skeg has been damaged, and there is a chunk missing from cavitation plate. I've had the gearbox checked, there are no internal problems. and the propshaft is running true.
Unfortunately I have no remotes or cables for the motor, although I do have a wiring loom. There is a prop included, but it has seen better days.
I bought this motor with the idea of fitting it to a small RIB with a console. However my situation has changed, and I have no tow bar on my car. So I desperately need to swap this motor for a 15hp, shortshaft tiller controlled outboard to fit to my 3.2m inflatable, so that I can take it away with me in a couple of weeks.
