yamaha 40hp tiler arm

hi guys
i'm looking for a tiler for my 40hp yamaha. i need the arm and cables. its an old engine but it runs so i'm tryin to get it all set up on the cheap.....

its got a lable on it showing..

40 HMO 6H4 L
480689.....

if anyone knows of one or a good site to find one (in ireland or the uk) that would be great... i've been looking but can't find the exact one.....

also the tilt is very stiff.... any ideas on freeinf it out.....

For Yam bits try DA marine in Newport-on-Tay.

Stilff tilt is going to be a case of removing the big toob that it all pivots round, and de- gunking it of all the dried grease that will be now well on its way to acting more like a treacle- araldite mix than grease. Then re-grease with fresh - reassemble - job done!

Unless it's one of these ones where the "lock down" is a lever on the top of a non powered hydraulic ram rather than a load of mechanical levers & catches? - there may be other possibilities in that case!
