Yamaha long or short shaft, Model G, 3-cylinder outboards are rarer than rocking horse poo. If you do find one, then be prepared to travel. The long shaft versions are particular favourite of commercial fishermen and don't often come on to the used market.
I know they are pretty rare, i do have a 50 short but id prefer to have pull start with less elec.
I also have a 40 short thats exactly what i need, minus the 50 carbs and exhaust. So it would be easier to sell both and find the right true 50.....if one is about!
