Yamaha 60F 2 Stroke - approx. 1985/87 Vintage LS Electric Start, Power tilt and Trim

Yamaha 60F 2-Stroke - approx. 1986/87 Vintage LS Electric Start, PTT, Low compression

Video Link -

https://youtu.be/X-XL2rQzhnA

Reason for sale, Low Compression after water ingress on bottom cylinder, ran well last year, Video of it running last month (linked below)

Outboard block has now been torn down for examination, no scores on the bores, bottom bearing on crank needs replacing and the odd seal

Brand new head gaskets x 2 installed in May 2020- water jacket cleaned out properly hence tell-tale stream in video

Yamaha 703 remotes, 1 x Yamaha key

Owned it the last 13 years, wakeboarding and cruising around the Solent - it's been very good to me, I feel bad dropping the ball with servicing over winter due to other project, then my boat club got locked down due to corona virus so couldn't access to run up for a long time.

Offers on whole thing, all parts and bolts in boxes and complete - block, carbs ,mid, power tilt and trim rams, flywheel, stators, cdi, solenoids, crank etc - was complete and was running and pumping
water like an absolute champ less than a month ago but compression readings were so down on bottom cylinder - if you've got another crank your sorted! -

All 3 x Carb's were rebuilt last year (2019) as per images, gaskets, o rings, needles, seats, floats, blanking rubbers - bought a 3 x carb over haul kit

I've now bought another Yamaha outboard, I am retaining this lower unit as I've just repainted it and serviced -

this outboard can come with a spare I have which you can fully examine, appears complete, turns on prop shaft - prop thrust washers etc.

It'd be great to let it all go as one - but will consider the more faff approach of parting each bit out - any inspection welcome guys, located in Southsea - Portsmouth

Any questions or more images just ask

Haha, yep!
Not too fussed on condition as long as there's no deep gouges in the bores, will be going overbore anyway, bigger ports etc
