Removed from a low hours 1990 Yamaha 85hp long shaft 2 stroke outboard, this gearbox is in full working order with new impeller and oil change 12months ago (no water in oil).
Unfortunately as you can see, the housing has split around the prop and the section is missing.
I am reliably informed this can be repaired by a competent alloy welder.
All splines are good.
This will fit any Yamaha 2 stroke made between 1989 and 2006 or thereabouts and between 70 and 90hp.
Marry this up with a welder or a new housing (one listed on eBay for less than £100 currently) and this will be ready to go again or use for spares.
Open to sensible offers.
