Yamaha 70 jets + gasket

Hi,

I'm looking for yamaha parts, if there are dealers on here?
I'm after 3x 145 main jets for 70 carbs, and the gasket for the carbs onto the block.

Thanks,
Seumas

is your problem sourcing this from your remote but rather idyllic location!

I can go and find out the price for you from our Yammie dealer and send it up to you if need be and then post on to you.

It's got standard jets in it now (not sure what they are, haven't seen the carbs yet!)
I'm going to wait until I've got it running to order the jets I need.

If you've already got jets, you can have them drilled if you're stuck was all I was thinking.

#145 mains were only fitted on models 1989,1990 and 1991. Tha part numbers of thes jets are 676-14943-36 and cost £9.64 each. Going by these main sizes the gasket which does the 3 carbs is part number 6h3-14198-01 and costs £4.05. What's wrong with your jets you have?

perfect, thanks! Think I may be after 140 jets instead of 145. Will have to check.

The carbs are going on a tohatsu 50 so need rejetted to suit.
I'm going to get it running on the current jets but I've spoken to guys using yamaha 70 carbs on a tohatsu 50 and they're using 135 or 140 main jets.
The carbs are from a 1997 model yamaha.

Cheers

We used to solder and drill for development and tuning. They don't last as long as they will wear faster than brass but for the hours an outboard does it doesn't really matter.
