For Sale: yamaha 704 control

i have a yamaha 704 control unit ( top deck mount type ) for sale, came with outboard i have just brought, but i have no way of fitting this type of control unit.
i need to get a flush mount side control unit ( yamaha 6X3 control ) its in lovely condition

it looks in great condition, functions how it should, just wanted to add i will need to keep the cables throttle and gear and the main loom that goes to the outboard, i guess you already have these ? if not let me know and we can work something out, as i am looking into buying a new control, but it won't come with anything. as for a price how does £ 90 plus postage sound ?

Hi, don’t need the loom or the cables. I’ve bought brand new teleflex extreme cables and a complete new wiring loom.

As for price, that’s a little bit more than I’d hoped. Due to us living in Jersey, I can get a brand new one for £130 from bhg as we don’t pay vat.

Have you got any pics?? If it looks ok and is in better shape than mine, I’ll take a look

Sorry i didn't know you can get them that cheap. ive taken some pic of it again it seems to be working correctly trim switch, gear and throttle and fast idle botton all function well, cosmetically its ok it is little discoloured at the bottom of the lever on the chrome, but you carnt see it from upright position, there also a scratch on the side, its not deep. i have taken photos for you.see what you think and if you want it its yours for £60 plus postage

your welcome. it is a shame i carnt use it i think its a lovely control compared to some of the rubbish ones ive used in my time, im sure your be pleased with it, ile make sure i box it well with plenty of packing and ( bubble wrap )
