Yamaha 704 singel gas/gear box

Just got my hands on a Zodiac SRMN 600.

Now I want to change the console, and for that I need an "new" gas/gear controller.
Anyone have a nice single Yamaha 704 they want to part with. It must have the trim in the handle and the microswitch for no start outside neutral

I live in Denmark, and would of cause pay all cost's for shipping/handling.

Hope someone can help. Thanks

Phone a local dealer in Denmark and as for price for part number 704-48205-R0-00. In UK they are only £154rrp new inc vat. Not worth trying to find a worn used one.

Don’t you think the 704 redesign is a bit cheap and nasty? Especially the trim button.

Personally I’d rather have a new old stock 703.

704 premium top mount has been on the go for years , it could do now do with an upgrade to include a neutral lock. The latest 703 side mount is same internals just a different shape but you can now have the trim switch on either side of handle.

As I can see on the pictures of the new 703, the red leaver for neutral lock is in the way for mowing the trim buttons. Please Davie, do you have a link or pictures, I would much appriciate it.

Unsure what you mean. The 704 goes through the deck but does not have a neutral lock so it can be put into gear at anytime, they all have trim switch. A 703 box is a side mount with trim switch in handle, includes gnition switch and has neutral lock. The latest 703 handle can be reversed so you can choose what finger you want to use to work trim switch.

I can not see any information, or picture where the trimswitch on the New 703 can be moved if you reverse the handle from the left side to the right. Please do you have any link or picture where you can see that, i would rearly appriciate that.
