For Sale: Yamaha F80A Outboard - long shaft £2500

I have for sale my Yamaha F80A long shaft outboard with control and rev counter. It came off my Avon Searider 5.4m following a re-engine. Condition is best described as works well but is "well used".

Mechanical: I have known this engine since the early noughties and owned it since 2007. Regularly serviced and maintained, it has only broken down once after a big end bearing failed (#1) in 2011. A used piston & conrod plus crank grind/shells/seals etc sorted that out. She has run 466 hours since the rebuild and I ran it with an oil pressure gauge since.
The tilt ram end mount sheared off when trailing and was professionally welded back on last year.
This engine is a quad-carb design.
Last service: It is due for it's annual / major service.
Oils and filters changed 2021
Impellor and water pump changed 2019
Cam belt and idler changed 2016

General condition: Cowling has an impact damage on the corner but no holes and minimal scratches. Steering arm and PTT pump casing are rusty but work fine. Prop is a 3x13x21 or a 3x13x19.

Gauges: Rev counter works fine but mount bracket is a little rusty. Fuel and trim gauges don't work and are for parts or repair. Control box works fine and includes keys and chords. Oil pressure gauge but it does read backwards! After market hour meter.

Currently crated in a Yam delivery frame. Delivery available at cost. Located in Kent.
