Yammy 150 vmax - offers

Yamaha 150hp V-MAX 1998 Model Duoprop

This engine has had water in the oil and consequently seized. The block is strippe down so you can see the damage.

Before the water intake the engine was in mint condition with only about 150 hours use (if that).

All the cowlings are unmarked and the gearbox has never even touched the bottom. The props are also as good as new and cost to buy just those new I am told is about £1200

All the electrics including guages etc are all with it aswell.

Could be re-built or used as spares.

I have had offers already so if you are interested let me know.

I'm sorry but the props band new cost as follows (prices from Yamaha USA):

65N-45941-00-00 S/S 14X25 FRONT $ 529.29
65N-45943-00-00 S/S 13X25 REAR $ 424.74

and

The TRP gearcase barnd new $ 4,320.00

Your engine costs more than 800 or 900 pounds

Any way I am interested for TRP gear case and the props.

What's the deal on those two??

Please send me an email

Many thanks

One of the bad things with all these gismos is that they don't last in the salt water unfortunately
from the various strories I hear, I don't think that they are actually intended to be used in salt water.

Errr....I could be wrong but I'd be very surprised if it's still for sale.

Look at the date of the post!
