With much regret, it’s time to part company with my much loved zodiac futura. She’s a mk2c 3.8m in length and in awesome condition, no repairs or patches, all chambers hold air perfectly. I have also a 2006 Mercury “15 super” 2 stroke engine, the Japanese model, not the inferior US version, for those that know this engine, this is a tohatsu 18hp block re-badged and sold as merc. The extra 3 horses were released by my mechanic, Paul at SCM in Christchurch giving a full 18hp and is serviced by him every year, paperwork available. engine will be serviced and winterised by him prior to sale, the engine does have a few exterior marks on the paint here and there but does not detract from what’s beneath the cowling, a bulletproof engine and will push to almost 30mph in open water. The boat comes on its own trailer rated up to 4.2m, bow bag, paddles, high pressure foot pump, claw anchor/chain/line, bow line, tiller extension, SE sport hydrofoil which gives added stability and better planing comes fitted to the engine, Yamaha 12l tank and transom mounted 11l tank are included along with a Yamaha engine dolly to keep engine safely stored when not in use. In my eyes, the quintessential SIB package.
