Bugle Billy is AWESOME! Going over the wash of the Redjet felt like just going over a little ripple; the boat hardly moved at all. And spinning round using the waterjet bucket control was cool. Thanks for the ride!

Thanks Seb thanks Nobbers

Touching wood yes I hope all is well. David Manning broke it the other week but we fixed that! Seriously though we are trying to put some reliabilty miles on it before we start to use it commercially. So we don't mind it breaking as long as it's trivial. But it's standing up quite well. We need to find another 200 revs but we are pulling 32 knots from a 4.2 ton boat at 2600 revs. the extra 200 bring it closer to 40 Knts

We have got three in line fuel filters and Six bilge pumps and that gives us a level of confidence that we are comfortable with.

What is really nice is that we seem to have got onto Micro Maintenance which is a lot nicer than having to haul the engine out.

If anybody is around we take the boat out most nights at the moment

Mermaids are a lot cheaper to fix than Cats by the way

yes it is a sturdy and tall A frame. The boat was originally built for the US coastguards who tested it for a few months and then sent it back as it was too slow. I believe they eventually bought something from Buzzi as he had supplied the boats they were trying to catch!

Rogue, how are you getting on with the Avon now then?

Are all her problems solved after the sea trialling or are you still fiddling with bits?

Out of interest, what sort of fuel figures are you getting with that CAT at full bore?

Cheers
