David, I like your tactic of changing your name part way through a controvertial thread!

I was worried about being hunted down and being disposed of at sea by the hecklers but now you have blown my cover I may well have to assume another alias such as " Parker"........

Oops!
Talking of "Parker" as a name, did you hear about when Lady Penelope's pink Rolls-Royce suffered a puncture?
Parker was struggling to get the hub-cap off, and Lady Penelope found some useful tools in the boot. She walked around to her struggling chauffer and asked:
"Would you like a screw-driver?"
To which Parker replied:
"Not at the moment, m'lady, I'm trying to change this wheel!"

Just in case we will be missed over the weekend (no posts ect) David and I are off to Poland on Saturday to test our new Parker 630 Diesel ribs.
When we return we will post lots of photos of Platypus and Seahawk 2

David
Still in Poland and I hope your pictures are good cos the ones taken with my camera are no good at all. Very good camera (G2) but unexperienced operator ( not me that is cos I was driving the rib)
I am sure however that the shots taken by HMS will be great and just may appear in the next issue of RI for all to see
are you going to post any this evening. I am back in the UK tomorrow
I am pleased you had a good time and enjoyed the Polish food
Andre

Polish food and Parker Ribs
Andre the food was superb what can I say almost 5 lbs heavier than when I left !!!
Parker Ribs , well simply put they performed beyond all my expectations. I guess the press will confirm this in the articles still to be published in the UK.
I am still awaiting the disc of HMS and will post as many pictures as possible upon recieving the information.
Have a safe trip back
david

Hey Andre
Hope you are well and your trip to Poland was all you hoped.
Do you have a date for the arrival of Seahawk 2 into the fair town of Littlehampton?
I will be down at the Marina for at least one day over the long weekend.
Phil

ETA Littlehampton for Seahawk 2 is early May cos want to wait when Poland joins EC, after 1 May no customs hassle
let me know which day so I will pop down between garden work. The heavy storm today has caused a nasty flood in our village and Wiesia tells that we have been flooded . Will have to wait till tomorrow to see if much damage.
What a home coming
Andre

unfortunately it was very bad . we live in a village at the bottom of a lane which was like a fast flowing river . Up the lane it even moved a few cars. At the bottom of the lane the current was quite fast and overflowed into the properties on either side. The drains as usual were blocked cos the council has only been today to clear them , a couple of days too late. Water was gushing into the airbricks , flooded the garage and garden shed. The carpets are dry but must take them up and the floorboards to see if any damage
I was away and it is nice to know one has good neighbours who assisted even to carry things upstairs
My Bank Holiday is now planned - to clean up the mess
Andre
