Great - thanks for the info Poly will factor that into my plans.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi guys.. thanks for looking in and commenting.

Im now getting a bit more confident with my voice overs and Fenlander kindly donated a decent microphone to capture the subtle drawl of my boring banter ... a bit better than the cheap webcam mic that I used in the last videos.

Thanks Fenlander … it is very much appreciated and I now have an analogue to digital interface to get it working at its best. It also means I can play the keyboards along with some of the videos so that Im not relying on other artists music to enhance the audio side.

MM289..Poly has summed up my thought exactly.. Loch Goil .. is in my opinion miles better than Loch Eck or Long Awe. I could be bias though as I don’t do fresh water lochs .. simply because I enjoy the hassle free sea. Fresh water tends to come with rulers and regulation which Im not interested in.

Apologies for the delay in replying ..but I have been away on my last multi day adventure of the season...and only now returned home.

I took the rough with the smooth and went round the Isle of Skye in my inflatable boat along with some other forum SIB’ers. It a fantastic island full of seagulls the size of eagles.

I hope to get my latest adventure on line in a few days and will post it on Ribnet too ..so watch out for “The Magic of Skye” .. coming soon.

Im sure you will enjoy it as much as my other adventures.

Best Regards
The Gurnard

Thanks for the shout out Mr G. Happy to offer a tiny bit of support to these videos we all enjoy. As a matter of interest I've re-visited the videos of Dylan Winter recently.. a somewhat grumpy sailor if you don't know him... as he's been touring Scotland. I see he raised £5000 in 2017 with a Paypal link and "send me a pound if you've enjoyed watching" type comment.

Thanks for the link Fenlander and I enjoyed watching the video and will watch others he has made. The idea of raising money for something like the RNLI in a similar fashion sounds interesting . Its by watching how others do their presentations that I am learning my own ways.

Although I only make my videos to pass my time and delighted others enjoy the outcome ..I could not even think of trying to raise money for charity until I work out how to do the audio side of my videos without infringing copyright issues.

By starting the voiceovers as encouraged by forum members ..its opening up ways so that Im not heavily relying on other folk’s music to enhance the audio side ..so Im getting there..but still a way to go yet.

My Thanks to all for watching this series
