about the buoys......

MeMe, Jono,

Check my occupation on user panel, our ops & control centre were aware that you had landed on our buoy almost immediately. All of our class 1 & 2 buoys have remote sensing and cameras! our OCC have just sent out descriptions to the local police etc. to try and identify the trespassers.....If you had stayed longer, our RRB would have caught up with you...big fines and criminal prosecution etc.

buoy jumping is a particulary dangerous (we get paid premium rates for the task)

Iv'e not sung like a canary, but watch your backs!

all our stuff is monitored.

Nick

You're 'aving a laff! The last large buoy i jumped into, yes into, was more like covered in seagull crap and made of rotting wood.

Okay, Hook Line and sinka time.....

What about the ones in the solent?

Last Cowes week I spent more time on bouys than I did on the rib?????

And THV Patricia was in evidence not more than 5 kts away??????

So come on fess up is this a wind up or what????

If not - then I plead guilty on all accounts - but you will have to prove it...... No photo evidence Ha Ha..... (Well not in the public domain anyway.... Simon if you post it I will be most dis-chuffed).

Oh MeMe a really sick thought passed through my mind reading all this.... What if Phil D had decided to pay you two very bad boys a lesson and left you stranded on that bouy now that would have been funny watching you try and blag your way out of that one once you had been picked up by the authorities and Jono toot toot as a super instructor you should have known better !!

So come on fess up is this a wind up or what????

I did enjoy that...............!

RRB? Rapid Response Bloke?... I meant RRV - but we haven't got one of those either apart from THV Ready, which is in Harwich!

Could you give the causeway a clean the next time your'e passing?

Seriously, I can't condone such irresponsible actions and it's all going on under my nose in the solent! as well......with the Patricia standing off...My God! Samuel Pepy's will be turning in his grave.

Meme, How Much Did We Get For That Brass Bell?

Jono,

I had to smile when I saw a 'large brass bell' advertised on e-bay today....... 30% cut?............don't tell the boss!

I notice Meme is rather quiet, still in the garage selecting spanas? or on e-bay trying to flog a class II navigation buoy?

Are you going to ribex? I'll buy you a beer.....meet at the prince consort buoy, I'll arrange for a reception committee on the THV Patricia ( we still secretly behead buoy fiddlers in the engine room as respect to King Henry VIII)

I think my impending redundancy is driving me a little potty....so I'll sign off!

Cheers
Nick
