Hey i was just wondering...how do you get photos of your boat jumping waves, turning, etc. Do you have to have another boat with you?

It must be said though that the rubber duck does not like getting in the water when its cold though!

Very delicate constitution!

Its quackers ( )to think that marine life is fussy about a bit of cold water!

Choppy,
easier way is to get a buddy on a jetty or breakwater with the camera and time it on a strong incoming tide.
Even the smaller waves get the "boost" coming into a narrowed shallower chanel and make for some decent jumping.
Also solves the issue of the cameraman bouncing around if also on the water.
Just have to make sure you are not in a restricted speed zone or the "Baywatch Babes" will get you.
Also dont try to get too close to the jetty in case you loose it on the landing and end up parked on the rocks like this guy was

Do you know if they recovered the boat successfully on the next high tide?

Richard,
no unfortunately didnt hear if they did recover OK.
Not sure how they would even start
He got flipped up there at high tide and wedged over some high rocks.
It was right at the end of the breakwater,so not sure even if a floating crane could have got to him.
Only way I could see is if they managed to disklodge a couple of the rocks at the front and use jacks/shoring or airbags to pick up the back of the boatand try and slide forward on timbers..
Either way couldn't see him getting off without further damage.
Maybe one of the recovery guys out there would give his best option!
Maybe his insurance covered helicopter lift

as for the caption, come on Jewels;you are the Wit out there.I am expecting great things or you are going to loose your reputation!

cheers Dal

"Dominos? We'd like to order a couple of pizzas. Hey, can you pick us up another case of beer on the way over, too? Uh huh. Uh huh. We're at the end of the Breakwater. Yeah, the end."
