I was thinking the same thing myself, thought it looked like a 7/8- i know photos never usually show how rough it really is, but ive been out on our Mersey in storm 10's , and i can assure you it was a heck of a lot cheekier conditions than what those pictures show.

1st pic is me pacing an Atlantic 75, second is me preparing for slow speed transfer with a Tyne... and final shot is slow speed transfer going wrong with Tyne..the bow had just been even more submerged and the prop lifting clear...me in middle (that's my mild concern face!)
