Monday night last, the trawler shown had a close encounter with something of a topographical nature off the NW coast of Donegal (clipped the Limeburner pinnacle?)
Lough Swilly Tyne (Republic) was tasked, covered the 22Nm to the scene and had the trawler on tow before the CG Delta and Sikorsky were on scene. Towing speed was very low so Portrush Severn (NI) was tasked to assist. After ten hours on tow, the trawler was secured at Rathmullan pier.
Long shout for both crews
Pic pinched from Mr Paul Deeney (thx P!)
