here you are chewy another pic of the atlantic 75 that your station borrowed from us whilst yours was away on refit ,and nice to know you did quite a few rescues with her and that you cared for her well ,,,shes getting on for 10 years old now ,,and a pic of the older ARUN class that our branch funded in 1977 of which the atlantic replaced in 1999,,,,,,,,,try getting that one in staithes boat house,,,, lol, after leaving the rnli in 1998 she went up to iceland for few years and is now in private ownership back in the uk painted grey and blue ,,wonderfull sea boat if you can afford the 80 gallons per hour ,,,but ya can go out in any weather,,,and a pic of REDCARs old atlantic 21 ,,soz about the quality, pre digital .mart

Yarmouth - all tucked up in the harbour.

Was close to Mudeford ILB on Wednesday as we both went to towards a 'casualty' at the request of the CG - but no pics .

On a seperate note I get the texts when the boats go out - very interesting and supportive at the same time at 25p text I dont notice the cost .

On exercise with the Flint ILB a couple of weeks ago on the River Dee.

We were acting as the casualty boat, lost with a failed engine so they could find us and recover us back to Mostyn. It was good fun for us and valuable training for them.

for those r.i.b fans out there intrested in the development of the atlantic class r.ib.s have a look in the history section of this link,,shows a couple of the early prototypes and the atlantic 17 ,,some of the crew kit was basic in the 1960s,, also some great pics of their current boat getting built and fitting out .mart
