Ailsa Craig

I've been saving Ailsa Craig for a quiet day. Today was a quiet day, so donegaldan, Mrs willk and I slipped out of HQ after a very good Ulster Fry and nipped over to Sanda (off the Mull of Kintyre) and then to Ailsa Craig before hitting Girvan - dragging Jambo out of the hoose for a deep fried pizza slice. RTB late afternoon in time for the last tractor recovery

Sea conditions excellent, weather sunny and warm except for a VERY foggy patch around the Craig (we heard the gannets before we saw it).

A top day's ribbing

'Twas a nice day all right - reckon that's about 90Nm all in. The return leg was 42Nm.

I was debating about selling my rib due to to much work and not enough free time. Those pictures have changed my mind. Next year its going to be used. Regards Jim

Just do what Willk did - sell your rib and borrow other peoples for a few years on the pretence basis that you might buy a very expensive one one day
