took shakespeares play on Sunday but had a bad day .....finally got the underfloor fuel tank coupled up and filled with fuel .....the tank was spotless from what i could see but i reckon with me filling the tank i pulled a lot of blue hylomar silicon sealant used to seal the inspection hatches into the engine filter ...all wrapped up like a tennis ball there was so much ...
goes like a train though

That's exactly what they found on mine with the first service...
Wonder if it's a common fault on ribs, or if Shakespeare need to do something a bit different...???

If petrol can release the Hylomar, is that the right gasket cement to be using with petrol? Just a thought.

Blue Hylomar is fuel resistant but not suitable for continuous exposure to petrol it breaks down eventually.
The only stuff I found that is supposed to be in contact with petrol is that red stuff that I can't remeber what its called.

Wacky looking A-frame and 'interesting' positioning of the wear patches in the bow.
