Aren't summer evenings great?

Seem to be having an unusually good spell of boating weather. Just wish I was on the water rather than in the office.

Have got the singlehanded launch and recovery weighed off now I have this combination. Perfect for a quick blast before dusk.

Got to agree with you there. I'd be out if it wasn't such a hassle to launch etc.

Pontoons and berths have definate advantages!!!!

Putting the boat in and out all the time is a bit of a pain in the a*** but you do get to take it along to different places, its a bit of a trade off really.

Zinc rich epoxy primer and glass flake epoxy topcoat lasts even better!!!

Just in the process of doing mine now - chassis is fine - 1987 ex Police and RNLI so ha spent quite a bit of time on the beach.

No welding needed but want it to stay that way so shot blasting back to bare metal - great fun - beats working on servers all day and night!!!

Codprawn,
I like the idea of the epoxy. Chassis is standing in garage. Was going to spend the weekend waxoylling, zinc priming and then finding the glossiest mid grey finish (so i can id any damage/leaks early). Think you may have the solution to my problem!

Please tell me more...
