I'm only one season into having a RIB and am very pleased with my 6.5m Ribeye (Yamaha 150), however I was very taken with the pictures of your boat, it's a really appealing design. I'll PM you.

Very smart Biff.
I wish you luck with the business, I can vouch for the quality of one-off work.

It's a great looking design, I've not seen anything similar.
What's the head room like in the cuddy?

i had to keep the design as low as possible to get the shape right for when you look at it, the cabin should slope forward to look right, having said that i'm a 6 footer and i can sit upright in there with a few inches to spare, but like everything in a small boat, it's all a bit of give and take, the old geezer who i was with said " if it looks right, it is right"

Lol - very funny
Having sworn at a few people for de railing my own thread - namely the historic EPIRB mammoth - I am very conscious that I have started doing it to other poor people - is it some sort of contagious RIBnet disorder

Biffer, your boat looks very smart! I particularly Like the way the tubes just touch the surface of the water at rest. Always makes a boat look nicely ballanced to me. What engine are you running in it? Speed, economy? Looks quite like a coastline hull? I was out on a 7 metre coastline with a mercruiser 120hp diesel at ribex a few years back and was very impressed with the smooth riding hull, and the skipper said it used something like 6 litres per hour of diesel! Wish my big Yam was that economical! I still havent got round to ordering back rests from you, we are building a house at the moment so thats running away with my time and money. But i will do yet! Cheers.. Robbie

evening, when we did the mouldings for the cabin and engine bay we weighted the whole boat with what we thought would be on it when finished, that's why it sit's like it does, speed wise it's close to 43knts@17lts per hr from a 240hp yamaha, it is a coastline hull and i own all the other moulds, there is something new in the pipeline without coastline, attention to detail is the key to a good boat, it's a passion of mine
